Lone Wolf Spur Honeydew Disappointing Meal & Service

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding the service and overall experience during our recent visit to your Lone Wolf Spur branch in Honeydew. The occasion was a milestone 80th birthday celebration, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards we anticipated from your establishment. Upon our arrival, the table reserved for us was noticeably unclean, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. When we requested assistance, we waited an additional 30 minutes for a server to attend to us, despite having mentioned the importance of the occasion and our need for timely service. We placed a straightforward meal order—four rump steaks. (2x 200gm and 2x300gm) and 1 Spare Rib. Only one of the steaks was tender as expected. The others were tough, dry, and did not meet expectations in terms of quality. To add to the dissatisfaction, we had to repeatedly call a waiter to clear our table and request desert menus, rather than receiving proactive and attentive service. These service gaps overshadowed what should have been a joyful and memorable celebration.At one point I had to go and find a waiter to clear the table. We chose this specific Spur as we have always had exceptional service and fantastic meals there. We actually drove to Krugersdorp and back to fetch the Birthday person. We are not complainers but feel obliged to write this review as the final bill was fairly sizeable and I feel was not justifiable for the experience. I hope you will take this feedback constructively and consider measures to ensure future guests receive the exceptional service and care that your brand is known for.
