Kids birthday party package that includes/caters for adults

I need to confirm kinds birthday party package when you say you cater for certain amount of kids + 6 adults, providing a meal with soft drink and dessert and party pack. The package does it cover adults expense or adults pay their own meal. When you say kids + an amount of adults I'm under the impression that its inclusive in the whole package. I'm seeking clarity as I had to pay for adults. Otherwise you shouldn't mention that you cater for adults - just to eliminate the confusion...which is which here.
