Just disappointed.

Can someone please contact me or provide me with an email address I can send my complaint to?

For 14 years we have frequented the Spur in Melkbosstrand and never had a bad meal or bad service, that was all stuffed up tonight by a simple 'springbokkie' drink which was not a springbokkie after all, and when I complained I was given excuses and untruths. It is not the waitress' fault and she received a decent tip, it is all on the person who worked behind the bar and the manager.

Instead of informing me they do not have peppermint liqueur and springbokkies are not available, we were served something which resembles it in looks, but in the end turned out to be a curdled, vomit worthy drink of apple sours and amarula.

When I complained about it I and asked to speak to the barman I was told the barman/girl is in the toilet, then I was told it was one of the waiters, and then I was told the manager poured the drinks.

At first I was very calm but it really angered me when I was confronted by excuses and later by what I believe to be lies.

It would have been so simple to just tell us it is not possible to serve us what we ordered.

The meal was excellent, as we came to expect at this Spur, but this really turned the evening into an experience my family and I can not accept and are really unhappy about.

In the end I am sure nothing will come of this, there will be no accountability, and I will be made out to be the bad guy in all this, but I have to make sure you are aware of my complaint even though I believe it is pointless to complain.
