Injury at Spur Play Canyon

Good Day,

I would hereby like to bring the following to your attention and express my utter dissapointment in your child care and play area facility!

On Sunday 22/11/2020 my daughter aged 3, visited Spur Lonehawk with her grandparents and two siblings. She played, like she had done many times before at other Spur branches. Assuming and resting assured that you have appointed staff watching kids in the play area while parents or grandparents enjoy breakfast....

Her brother and other kids were jumping on the trampoline, nobody watching....not knowing better, got onto trampoline and due to impact of jumping kids, fell and broke her leg! In agony started screaming!

To me this is unacceptable! Where is the staff watching and observing kids activities in your play area? You have a clause that your staff are well trained to take care of kids while parents sit back and relax.

Secondly after the incident staff didnt offer to help, poor brother had to carry his injured sister to the table. No help whatsoever! Where is your first aid in this incident?

I am terribly sorry but I would not recommend your facility to any parent!!!!!! And i will make it known that your play area is not safe! Unless they have R5000 to cough up on medical bills!

And a apology cannot fix this nor the pain my child has had to bear, because your staff member was lazing around and not watching the kids activity.

Poor service, and I have also shared this with your Head Office!
