Infernal noise

This review is about noise. We often go to Spur as a relatively good place for kids, but one major deterrent is their corporate management decision to make known birthdays to the entire Solar System. In the past there were some oakies getting together and clapping a bit. Not my cup of tea, but I could live with. More recently though the procedure has changed, there is a recording distributing infernally large numbers of decibels. Yesterday, of course I had to put with the usual loud circus but this time I actually measured the Sound Level. It was 97 dBA. That is at least to say, ********. Those "corporate" buddies who come up with such toxic deafening weapon of mass destruction should know that there is legislation regulating the level of noise in a restaurant, for example, which is SANS 10103, which incidentally is a law signed by the president and gazetted, stating that in a restaurant the maximum allowable noise level should not exceed 55 dBA. the noise measured was 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10 000 times louder than legally allowed. I have measured it with a Bruel&Kjaer SLM and, for fun with my phone too. Since this thing seem to be an ongoing fact, it looks like the management of Spur doesn't give a damn about legislation and carry on doing whatever their internal voices tell them what to do. After all, didn't Trump (the US president) referred to Africa as a S-H place? A bad comment, of course, but it seems that Spur management may think along the same line, but if they willingly choose to disregards a law of the country, how many other rules do they choose to break, and then another question comes up: what exactly do they serve to the consumers?
