Inferior quality ice cream served instead of the usual full cream ice cream.

I wish to commend Twin Peak Spur in Ottery for having great customer service for providing delicious burger meals, and good coffee. The server was friendly, professional and very attentive. We have eaten at this Spur before and the food was great with our first experience at that particular Spur.

Today, however, I wasn't pleased with the quality of the ice cream used for the peacan nut sundae. I had a waffle and ice cream, and my dad had a sundae on a previous sit in, and know that Spur's ice cream based desserts and Milkshakes are usually rich and creamy, and not a tasteless, watery soft serve mess that comes from inferior quality frozen dessert. Today my dad and I received the poor quality soft serve in our sundaes. It was not a pleasure to eat because it was so thin and watery and it made the nuts taste soggy and bitter. I have had one other experience like this at another Spur when they ran out of the full cream ice cream but they made the customer aware of it first so the customer had a choice to order it or not. We didn't have that option today, and it's unacceptable to be paying for a fullcream icecream dessert only to receive something of inferior quality.

I hope that this won't happen again in future. As mentioned, I am happy with the overall quality of service but my experience of today was not fully enjoyable.
