I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received.

I am writing this complaint with a heavy heart.

On 31 May, I made a reservation for 7 people (5 adults and 2 children) at 16:30 for a family celebration at Reno Spur. We arrived on time, and before being seated, we were asked if it was for a birthday party, to which we responded no.

We received our menus at around 16:40 and then waited for the waiter to take our order. After placing the order, we waited approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes without receiving our food, (18:20) despite the restaurant not being busy.

Due to the long delay, we eventually decided to cancel the order. The manager came to apologise, but by then it was too late for us to enjoy our meal while seated. As we were travelling from Stellenbosch and it was getting late, we had to request takeaways instead.

I am very disappointed with the service, as I was looking forward to enjoying a meal with my family. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations.
