I'm over and done with you, Spur!
Spur steak ranches have been advertising that on Heritage Day you will get R50 off if you present your Spur Family card. So my elderly mom and I head off for a welcome meal with a discount. What a shame! When paying the cashier rang up the whole amount with no discount.! When asked why, she said that we should have said that we hadn't yet had a discount, as many people had been going more than once and claiming a discount. So we asked for the transaction to be reversed, but, no! Sorry! We can't do that! It has already been processed. Dear Spur, don't waste money advertising - we're not listening anymore... We've had enough.

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns with us. The R50 heritage day voucher was not issued to every person but instead only to family card members who had met the criteria for this complimentary voucher. A waiter is not allowed to claim a voucher off a family card unless the customer advises him/her to do so. We understand your frustration but at no point was it the intention to \con\" you out of your voucher
