HOLIDAY FEVER

I must say the service and attitude of the staff at the Spur Standerton deteriorates at every visit. Not that the managers make it any better. We placed our kiddies orders 1st which were burger meals,starters and adult orders were taken 10minutes later. From the time we placed our order for starters to the time it arrived all appetite had been lost. What i don't understand is that it was not so busy for the food to have taken so long to prepare. But imagine this....our main meal orders came way before the kiddies orders so we shared..but as for ordering a 300g steak and being given 200g and having called the manger to verify but he was even more confused than the waiter Jerry and certainly ******** of his menu and portion sizes. No apology, no substitute, no shame in providing cold food, pathetic service and ******** staff and still pay for it with a tip.I am absolutely certain that the staff had taken the evening off and as for me, i can never allow my family to be traumatized by such experiences, rather go further to get better service with a smile. Spur Standerton is a DISGRACE.it is imperitive to properly train your staff on offerings and give service with a smile!Dissapointed.
