Highly disappointed

Being a very loyal customer. We visit Indigo Spur at Waterstone 3-4 times a week. Our bill is never under R400 and leads give a 20% tip. We became know but tonight we were highly upset. We couldn’t even finish our meal and had to leave.

The table behind us was listening to something inappropriate. Sitting by the kiddies section amd this being a family restaurant I asked her politely if she could turn it down due to my kids eating and having to listen about very inappropriate voice notes or video she was listen to. She laughed me off and carried on.

I then called the manager. They started talking in their language which I couldn’t understand and eventually she said I’m not moving. I immediately said we will not move either as we were there 1st and was busy with our dinner.

The manager then walked away and customer carried on with this. I then got up to tell him that this is not acceptable which he told me he can’t do anything about it.

My kids were upset and I was so disappointed at how he handled the situation.

You will not see us again. We will take our money else where. Clearly kids are not a priority there. Nor if you a regular that never complains.

We have supported the owner ao much. Not just this spur but at his Millhouse Restaurant as well.

That manager does not belong there. He had no compassion and clearly didn’t worry about us. That manager who always high five my son and Keats pretend to be so nice was the cause for this branch to loose a client that spend more than R5 000 a month at this branch.

I will be sure to tell everyone about this as no one deserves this over a nice family dinner.
