Got insulted for not leaving a tip!

Went for lunch and was welcomed properly by the female manager (didn't get the name) which was later referred to the waiter named Xolani, first: he didn't not bother to greet me.Secondly: he dumped my food there and left and never bothered to come back to check up on me! Finally requested my bill from another waitress in which she went and to look for him, he cameback with my bill and I didn't bother to tip because of bad service, he then asked if I am paying the exact Amount with no tip and I said yes!
