Golden Nugget Spur

Just spent a week in Cape Town for work, had to drive there and back. Enjoyed meals at 4 seperate Spur restaurants and for the most part the experience was rather enjoyable. However, driving back we stopped at the Sun Windmill Casino in Bloem for a quick bite at Spur. First things first, the whole restaurant had a strong smell of Guacamole, but not in a nice way, it smelled really acidic. Now I know you sell some great nachos, but having a smell of nachos strong enough to literally hurt your sinusses are not pleasant. Secondly, the chips were terrible. I did not think that it was possible for a Spur to make bad chips, bur this Spur managed it. The chips were cooked, but very oily and soggy that leads me to believe the oil wasn't hot enough. Lastly, the bathrooms are terrible. The toilet paper dispenser didn't work properly, had to pull the old toilet roll inner out of the dispenser before being able to obtain some paper. The floor was wet, don't think I need to elaborate there and the toilet seat was loose so I had to play a balancing game for some time. The service we got from Karabo was stunnig and the steak itself wasn't bad but we definitely won't be going back to this particular branch. 2 stars (would have been 1 if the waiter wasn't so good).
