Fulfilling experience at Misty Falls Spur - must read!

I would just like to commend Misty Falls Spur Steak Ranch, situated at St John's Village, Karkloof Road, Howick, for their excellent service as well as the taste quality of their food that at other Spur branches does not always live up to expectations.In my experience at Misty Falls so far, the food not only lives up to its picture on the menu, which is hardly ever the case, but also seems to be prepared with care and attention to flavour. This is excellent to find in a franchise restaurant and this branch is doing the brand proud. I take my recently retired uncle out for breakfast in Howick at least once a week, and of all our haunts so far, Misty Falls has served the tastiest breakfasts and surprisingly good calamari that would give a fine dining version a run for its money in a blind tasting, I think. But the best component of the meals we've had there so far has been the service and the attitude of the staff. I can only imagine that Brian, the manager, is a great leader - friendly and seeming to be hands-on and stuck in, which creates a great atmosphere worth writing about after so many run-of-the-mill experiences at so many Spur branches I have been to. The staff are well trained and eager to be of assistance, and have so far always been caught with the most pleasant of attitudes. Both my uncle and myself, having worked in and owned restaurants between us, and eaten at very many across the country, are quite surprised and simultaneously delighted that it's a Spur that's delivered so we'll on its culinary and service promises. A taste for ife, indeed and for good management and attention to taste and customer experience...and by the look of it, equitable employment and opportunity despite the excuses provided by other businesses in the sector - hope I'm right about the latter!
