False advertising
I receive a monthly newsletter from Spur outlining their monthly promotions, and was excited when I saw their Valentines Day special - Celebrate the month of love with our 3-course Valentine's Day menu at selected Spur restaurants for only R149.90 per person. Available from 1-28 February 2015. Eat-in only. VAT incl. Terms and conditions apply. Participating stores only. I then clicked the link to see the list of participated restaurants and found Topeka Spur - Kenilworth Centre on the list. I therefore went to Topeka Spur on Valentines Day for this specific special, however when I arrived there I was informed that the restaurant was not running the special. I felt ******* that they had gotten me there, and now I was seated already so stayed for a meal at regular prices. This is false advertising and I will think twice before going to Spur again.

I checked the list of participating stores and Topeka is definitely on the list and should have been offering the Valentines promo. We will address this with the owner/operator and confirm why this special was not taking place in store on the day you visited.
