Extremely bad service

We as a family of 7 went to Falcon Crewk Spur on Friday 30 September 2021 just be told they were full. The next morning at 10am I phoned to make a booking for the Saturday evening, just to be told they don’t take bookings. I explained that we were there the Friday evening and got turned away, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and just kept saying they don’t take bookings. We got there 17:30 to make sure we got seated. Got there and was told there is no space because there was a bog booking made! To our surprize we explained that we tried to make a booking in the morning and was told they dont make bookings. The manager came and recognised us from the previous night. He said there was no space amd they dont take bookings. We asked but why does everyone say there are bookings made? Both the manager and the lady at the front desk could not really answer the question. Eventually we were told to sit outside-mind you, it is freezing cold this weekend in Knysna and raining. We have 3 children with us. We turned around and said we are leaving and that this is not the way to do business. So, twice in one week we were turned away! After trying our best to make reservations at Spur. I will not recommend Spur Falcon Creek to anyone. We are locals from Knysna and find this unacceptable. To just turn customers away like that. On the Friday night, ourselves and many Other customers were turned away.

In a time like this where you would expect restaurants to want to make money and get turned away and be treated extrely badly, it just blows my mind. We as customers are doing you a favour by supporting your business, not the other way around. We tried everything to make sure we got a table and still got sent away and with the worst attitudes immagenable.

You guys have a long wat to go if you think that Spur is doing its customers a favour!

Me and my family will not ever support Spur again. We went to Sirocco’s in Thesen Island and were treated amazingly from the moment the door opened.
