experience has left us unamused

My friend and I, as we always do, go out for lunch at our favourite Spur Steak Ranch at Brooklyn Mall and as always we debate for a while should we try some place different, but we know the service are impeccable, the waitress and waiters are friendly and we know the food is out of this world at our family favourite Spur steak ranch, so we debating ends up to be pointless cause Spur always wins… We thoroughly enjoy our times at Spur … however, yesterday all that changed. It all started with onion rings …now I am not sure about ya’ll but I love my onion rings nice and crispy …very crispy and I stressed this to our waiter over and over…and even when he left, I repeated….crispy onion rings. Needless to say IT WAS NOT CRISPY but besides that, the order took about 40min, arrived WITHOUT the cheesy prawn and garlic sauce and soft slushy like onion rings. My friends order came with MUSHROOM sauce …that looked like cement mix …even the manager said it was way too thick. With that being said, he took it upon himself to rectify the order but alas…that also went up in smoke. My steak came back with the sauce, but it was way way over cooked…. The chicken schnitzel, however devoured by my friend was also dry, but with time not on our side she opted it was now or never and went for it. I opted that we pay for drinks and cut our loses … but I could see she was hungry and did what she needed to do. Anyway… all experience has left us unamused and currently looking for a better and alternative steak house option. ..Any suggestions???
