DISGUSTING SPUR FOOD

Walked into River Hawk SPUR at the Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth with our 3 year old little one. The following is my DISGUSTING service at the Spur, and it was not busy.

1. Had to look for a waiter to be served 2. Getting drinks took 15 mins 3. Waited another 15 mins to place our food order 4. Food eventually arrived, wish it hadn't. 5. Burger buns must have been days old, flaky and falling apart. 6. Chips tasted old and stale, I persevered, but after 5 more bites could not eat them. Burger patty was also over cooked. 7. Called the manager who eventually arrived 10 mins later. 8. 1st he refused to accept the food was substandard and wanted to engage in an argument. 9. After removing my food, he did not even enquire as to my wife's food which was also old, stale and substandard. She ate half and left the rest. 10. When the waiter came around he quite proudly stated that the kitchen would not be bothered about the complaint.

The real issue I have is that we walked in hungry thinking about a tasty juicy Spur burger and chips. Left hungry and NOT AT ALL HAPPY.

To everyone reading this, PLEAESE DO NOT !!!!!!!!!! Frequent the Spur at the boardwalk, the attitude and the food leaves a lot to be desired. I will be taking this further with the owner as clearly the customers satisfaction is not remotely an issue they wish to address.

So much for a brand that once served good fresh food.

RIVER HAWK SPUR, you deserve to be shut down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
