Disgusting service and an embarrassed customer

Went to the Spur and have never been so disappointed with the brand ever. I have been going to Spur all my life and have always loved the atmosphere and excitement with going to the branch. Firstly, we were greeted with a half smile and almost made to feel as if we weren't good enough to be there. Secondly, when taken to the table taking drinks seemed as if we were inconveniencing the Waiter by telling them what we want. When the drinks arrived and we started ordering the food the waitor kept telling us of the cheaper options available for EVERYTHING, tried ordering ribs, wings and chips for my boyfriend and we specifically wanted the R180 something option as he was hungry and the waitor told us there's the R130 option instead. Being a waitor myself for a restaurant own by spur I know waitors are expected to up sell and it was as if we were being told we couldn't afford the meal. For my burger I wanted the pineapple and mushroom sauce option (can't remember the name) was told if I get the the cheese burger it would be cheaper! I have never been made to feel so embarrassed in my life. When ordering the waffle we asked for the bar one waffle and she told us about the maple syrup. When asking for the bill the waitor put it on the table and left, almost forgetting to bring the machine, waited so long the manager came and assisted. Didn't want to say anything at the time because of how embarrassed and ashamed I was made to feel. As we left we found the waitor standing at the door smiling and laughing with the other waitors forgetting we were waiting for her to assist us. Not even a simple thank you or enjoy your day after leaving her more than a 10% tip. We go to the branch often and know what we want as we WERE fans of the brand but after this experience I was embarrassed and the branch and waitor ruined all my childhood memories of spur by making me feel at one time that I wasn't good enough to be there. The brand has always been about family and enjoyment and all it was was an embarrassment to me.
