Disappointed leap year baby

I was disappointed by a Spur manager on duty Samkelo, based at Jabulani branch. The 29th Feb 2024 is leap year & most restaurants offer specials on their meals to those birthdaying on this special day. However I was disappointed with the service I received from Samkelo. The least he could have offered was to double check with his manager to find out what the procedure is with leap year [it happens once in four years].
