Disappointed

As with many people in this economic climate we are watching our budgets particularly as a pensioner. I took my father with my wife for breakfast for his birthday today at Spur Carnival Mall and we all had the budget breakfast with coffee and tea. After the meal we requested a refill (which had been at no charge previously) and to my utter dismay and disappointment saw that when the bill came we were charged an additional R20 per cup for the refill. Needless to say I find this in poor taste as when we requested the refill the waitress should have mentioned that the refill would be charged at full price and not at a free or discounted rate. Extremely sad to see how Spur feel about their customers, the elderly in particular
