Dakota Spur Northgate - Not worth the wait.

My family decided to go to Dakota Spur in Northgate this morning for lunch, We did not order anything extravagant, just chicken strips and a toasted sandwich and for my son a ice cream, Well my son received his ice cream and was half way through and both me and my wife had not received what we had ordered. I called the waiter over after about 30 minutes worth of waiting and he mumbled something about the fryer / cooker for the eggs was not working or some such. Now if the waiter know something was wrong why did he not come to us earlier and tell us what the hold up was rather than keep us in the dark. Eventually after 45 minutes worth of waiting we finally got what we ordered. Both me and the wife were so hungry we ate the food so quickly that we really did not enjoy the experience in the end. I work in the customer service industry and if you want people to come back your service levels need to be good or better than your competitor to survive. What we received at your establishment was sub par to below par in all regards. We will not be going back.
