I came round about …time with my son and his friend. While I was sitting my son’s friend approached me and reported to that one of the children at the playground was rude to him and he said ……… I advised him to go play with other children and he left, came back and advised that Teacher (Nosipho one of your staff) said my son’s friend was lying. I went to speak to Nosipho, she said my son’s friend is a **** and is troublesome , whenever he comes to this Spur he causes trouble. This was said without listening to all sides of the story. When I raised the issue of favouritism to Nosipho, she said it’s not her kids for her to pick sides and when I advised her that she should have been objective she was not taking my suggestion into consideration. She picked sides as a results my son’s friend was very upset.

I expect a grown up who listen to both sides and resolve the issue without imposing judgements on a 2 year old based on the previous behavioural which I had not witnessed as I was not with the child when the child was naughty as stated by Nosipho.

What’s the point of having an adult who monitors children while they play when she’s going to make them feel that she’s taking sides. I’m very disappointed on how she handled the whole situation and how she was so adamant that the little child was lying without getting the other side of the story. These children came mainly to play as your restaurant has an outdoor playground and they enjoy but they are being unfairly treated by an adult and who should be mediating and resolving childrens queries.
