Chinook Spur *****

Good day.

Not even sure if this is the correct place to send this however I would like you to know that the owner of Chinook Spur (Jeanine Clark) in Plattekloof, Cape Town is interfering with my business. I run a private transport service (like Uber, Bolt and InDrive or your local school transport) and some of my customers work at Chinook Spur. I didn't go to them for business, I got a referral from a friend who works at the establishment and basically from word of mouth people have been using my services because they trust me and they feel safe driving with me. Where my issue lies is, the owner has been constantly harrasing me and telling everyone that they can't use my service and even contacted me at my day job to basically say I'm not allowed to drive anyone of her staff and that they need to make other transport arrangements. Now firstly, my business has nothing to do with Spur. Secondly, how dare you tell your staff who they should and shouldn't drive with. It's literally like booking an uber, but instead they contact me out of their own will. I'm not forcing them to use my services.

She is really making my life difficult because this is my bread and butter she is messing with. I don't tell people not to go to Spur and that they must eat at other restaurants. But now it feels like I should. And I will. If she doesn't stop. I've attached a voice note forwarded from one of my customers of what she told her staff.

I would understand if I was offering a bad service and they are complaining to her about it or if I'm forcing them to drive, but I'm not. No one has complained about my services. Everyone loves driving with me. They even said it's like a free therapy car ride where they are comfortable to be open about their day and personal lives. And they know they will get home safe and in a happy mood.

She wouldn't want her staff to just quit and leave her store dry. So she shouldn't interfere with someone else's business.

Please please please Spur. This is NOT on!! We supposed to be supporting each other's businesses. She has some weird vendetta about this and it's not on! Definitely not a good look because I can easily go and tell the whole world about this franchise and to avoid going to it.

I really hope this matter gets looked at because it's not the first time she's been like this. And I'm really getting sick and tired of her trying to mess with my livelihood.
