Child broke his leg in play area
My 3 yr old broke his fermur (upper thigh) and had to be hospitalized on traction for 4 weeks. Not a single call from the owner to show empathy! Over last 2 months i tried to engage the owner but all i got was he will call me. No call to date. I met with one of the shift managers recently and he mistook me for a mother whose child broke a jaw! They cant even keep track of which child broke what! Whilst in hospital i met a lady whose nephew broke a shoulder! Seriously where is the safety of the children. On the day of incident no one even assisted. I even had to wait for my bill and pay in full before rushing to hospital. I have given this owner several chances to engage with us but we are just ignored. I am now considering legal action. One of the shop owners within the centre even said they are used to hearing of children breaking bones at this spur. When i enquired with the manager at the time, he confessed to another child breaking his arm and all they did was simply put a mat on the particular climb and nowhere else. They have since revamped the play area but the new manager denies yet i have pictures from the day of the incident showing the difference. Its time for action.
