Canal walk spur employees no way of dealing with children

We visited spur last night to celebrate human rights day. My 12 year old daughter went for face painting and came back with out on visibly upset. We enquired what was wrong but she would not say. When we got home she was crying saying the lady that did the face painting rudely. Commented what is this big child doing in the line. My daughter might be big build but still only twelve. How do you make such comments to a child. The only reason she did not say anything there was because she didn't want me to go and confront the woman. She made my daughter feel very conscious about how big she looks thus messing with her self-esteem Very disappointing that this is the staff spur canal walk has.
