Busy Days Means Bad Food!

Yesterday I went to spur for father's day. We went way past lunch time to avoid the rush and when we arrived it was not too busy and we were shown to a table immediately. Downhill from there.<br> Our waiter was very friendly but our food and waiting/service were ridiculous! We ordered starters to share and something to drink and waited far too long. An hour, yes an hour, after ordering our starters arrived and were NOT what we usually get. <br> A VERY stingy portion of mushrooms. I counted it and there were only 9. Seriously? This is NEVER the case!! This is less than half of the amount we usually get. <br> There was no salsa with the nachos, SO VERY DRY AND UNPLEASANT. <br> Garlic roll was crispy and hard, so dried out <br> And the wings looked and tasted as if they were heated and reheated so many times because the chicken was to stringy and tough. <br> I did not want to complain and spoil father's day for my husband. He also didn't say anything and suddenly just said we should leave without even having mains. We were so disappointed and both feel it was time and money WASTED. We always enjoy ourselves at this spur but doubt we will be celebrating a special occasion here again!<br> <br>
