Baywest Spur Old Gum in Food

I was at baywest mall and decided to try out Spur for the first time in years. The food to start off with was good. While packing the remainder of my food into a takeaway container I saw a small chewed up piece of bubblegum under/side of my plate. I was disgusted and told the waitress. A few hours later I decided to warm up the rest of my food. While eating my burger it started to taste weird, only to realize that I was eating the remaining bubblegum with it. I was absolutely disgusted on how the waiter and kitchen manager could let something like that happen.
