Bad Service

I went to Spur in Cresta Mall on Sunday to meet a friend of mine it was around 15:30 and found him there and he already ordered drinks(Beers) for us.A call come in 10min later and it was an emergency and we had to leave and that time our drinks were still full.

I saw a waiter, he didn't have a name badge on but he had dreadlocks on his hair, So I asked him for take away cup to put my drink(beer) in so he come back and gave me one.

I poured my drink in a take away cup and as i was about to leave the waiter ran and he stood right in front of me blocking my way, I politely asked him to step aside so that i can pass. He started getting aggressive raising his voice and saying that I'm not going anyway and i still kept my calm and asked him to move out of my way. The waiter then started grabbing my hand and I asked him not to touch me and he didn't stop continued grabbing my hand and forceful pulling my take away cup in my hand and said I was not leaving with that..

While this whole situation is taking place, I was standing towards the door. I never felt so humilated in my life as everyone was watching me like, I stole something from the shop and only to find out that i was holding a takeaway cup that he gave me.

I was also shocked of the abused that i got from the waiter, Gender Based Violence is a big concern right now in our country and if a big restaurant like Spur allow thier staff to perform such activities in thier premises then something must be done about it as I'm really worried not only for myself but other customer's that come to the restaurant...

To make matters worse after sometime the manager on duty come into scene while the waiter was busy wrestling me. He asked the waiter to move out of my way so that, I can pass but there was no form of apology and when i told them that I'm going to complain even the manager told that I can go ahead and complain.

I always go to Spur in Cresta Mall but the service and abuse, I received that Day was shocking if this the service you give to the customers something must be done about it. I'm really not happy at all.
