Bad service

I took my mother and my family out to Spur Claremont Cape Town on the 13th November 2015 it was my mothers birthday. i ordered big bear special surf and turf ribs and a few starters with caffe lattes etc. we waited 1 hour for our food. when we finally got our food it was ice cold..then we had to wait and try to get the attention of a waiter for about 20 minutes in order to tell them about our cold food, eventually the waiter came and took our cold food away we then waited another 30 minutes for our food to return! then i decided enough is enough i got up searched around spur for a manager (who was nowhere in sight) told her about our delays cold food and everything. she then apologized and organised our food. when i entered spur i told the waiter and manager if they could sing happy birthday for my mom. but nobody ever came. i am not 1 to complain and i don't get upset quickly. but that night was very disappointing..i decided to treat my mom with spur on her birthday but it turned out to just be a stressful occasion and a big mistake. PS the branch was about half full that evening but they couldn't get their act together. i even filled in the comments book they keep at the till
