Bad Experience from Spur (Southdowns) Management

Good day,

I would like to log a complaint about the management staff working at Spur in Southdowns. I went there to look for a December holiday for my son who is 16 years of age, i first met with Thobile who **** and promised to speak to her manager and call me back, she never called, i then went beginning of last week and i met Vincent who then told me that i should be rest assured that my son is employed, Vincent told me that because my son is 16 years old he will give him another job as he cannot be the waitor because he will not be able to sell liquor, i was happy and thanked him, Vincent told me that he wants to see my son last Saturday the 3rd of November 2018 and i agreed, he told me that he should be there between 12 and 1 o'clock. My son stays with his grandmother in Alberton and comes to his parents over the weekends but on this particular one he was not going to visit us as he was starting his exams yesterday, he came to us because he had an appointment with Vincent. Emihle, my son's name, he went to see Vincent at 12 o'clock and was told that Vincent's shift is at 2pm, he went back home, i then took him to see Vincent but i remained in the car, he went in and Vincent pretended not to be knowing about the appointment and referred Emihle to Thobile and Thobile treated my son like a piece of ....., she was not interested, she was not willing to help, she finally listened what was the boy there forand she told him that he is young. 1. Does it mean the Spur management does not know the new labour law of the children starting working at 16 years of age? 2. What is Vincent thinking about the money that the child has spent to come all the way from Alberton coming to Centurion to see him and what about the child's time? 3. What does Vincent thinks about this child, i mean we are talking about emotions here, does it mean he does not care because this is not his child nor his little brother? 4. What impression did he give to my child about seeking for employment, is that positive? 5. I am dissappointed in Thobile being a woman not having humanity, i thought at least she would at least listen to the child, maybe she does not have a child.

Vincent did not see the necessity of apologising about the whole thing, disappointing both Emihle and me. This shows how *********** management staff from Southdowns is. I was one of their loyal customers but as from last Saturday, i will not go to any Spur restuarants and i will tell my family and friends about the experience and not to buy from Spur again.
