Arrogant and Negligent Employees!

I am dissatisfied with the service at the Gerimor Spur on York Street in George. Despite being a frequent visitor due to its proximity and my friends' preferences, I have mostly experienced significant issues of undermining and just plain negligence. We last ate there on Sunday the 6th of Jan 2024. Our waitress, who failed to even introduce herself, was notably slow in taking our order, leading to an unnecessary delay. This she could have done after giving our drinks but she disappeared for some time. Additionally, when I requested serviettes from a passing waitress, as ours was nowhere to be found, she never returned. The manager, though close to our tables, seemed uninterested in assisting and rather opted to delegate the task after I asked him for serviettes rather than addressing it directly. When I decided to take my leftover veggies home, the provided cardboard container leaked, causing an inconvenience as we had to wait for a few minutes at the entrance for different appropriate packaging. Overall, the attitude and negligence of the staff were disappointing. I have always observed an unsettling atmosphere towards non-white customers, which is unacceptable. This kind of behaviour can tarnish the reputation of your business. I urge the owner to address these concerns promptly for the betterment of the establishment.
