A sour taste for life - shocking treatment and service during an emergency.

I was with a group of 10 people, some with special needs, firstly we made a booking for 11 people at canal walk's Mexico Spur, some with special needs and we requested a single large table to accommodate us all, that table wasn't available, and it caused extreme anxiety amongst some, secondly as a result we had to sit at two different tables, and we couldn't socialise as we usually would, lastly to make matters worse, due to the bomb scare we had to abandon our food mid meal, and most of us didn't finish, before we were told we had to evacuate. We didn't know what was going on, and where to evacuate to Spur first insisted we pay before leaving, only I think when security insisted Spur evacuate, they let us go. Only later to contact the person who booked wanting payment. Payment isn't the issue here. I understand perfectly if we order something, we must pay, but to be ushered out mid meal, spur staff seemingly clueless about what was unfolding, we had a bunch of traumatised autistic young adults, thinking they were going to die, and all the Spur staff seem to be concerned about is getting paid. The Spur has always been one of my favourite restaurants since childhood, but after yesterday's incident I don't think I will be returning to Mexico Spur, the Spur's slogan may be a taste for life, but yesterday's experience left a Sour taste for life, and I'm deeply saddened, and disappointed.
