60th Birthday Ruined

<p>Decided to surprise my Mom to a birthday lunch at Spur Canal Walk & treat my wife & kids at the same time but we were bitterly disappointed with a ****tail of errors by our waitress & both managers on duty. When our meals arrived my ribs & my wife's steak were delivered cold. (Not sure if the waitress was sleeping on the job) Then my wife's medium steak is returned over done & sent back to the kitchen again. A while later my ribs are returned perfectly but without the Sweet Potato Fries I ordered & I'm left wondering what I did to deserve this. By the time my sweet potato fries eventually arrive I've lost my appetite. My wife's steak arrives perfectly but everyone's finished their meals. Andre tries to fix this service ******** by offering my wife & I a 'free' waffle when everyone in attendance's experience was ruined. To end the afternoon, the birthday 'girl' & my kids has to watch us eating 'free waffles' - Our bill - R910-00, Tip - R90-00 (felt really bad for the waitress) = R1000-00 (a mistake I'll never make again) I'll spend my hard earned cash elsewhere from now Spur, thanks for nothing. </p>
