15 minutes no services

<p>Found myself at the Liberty Midlands Mall on the 1st. Myself and a friend decided to get a quick bite at Spur because we saw that they were open. Normally I love this Spur, I have always had great service and a good experience. </p> <p> </p> <p>We were shown to our table by a young lady. I didn't even have time to see her name badge before she just walked away. At first I thought she was giving us time to decide on drinks, but 5 minutes went and we had no waitor. 10 minutes passed and I could see the same girl at the front of the store talking to other employees. Another female waiter walked straight passed us, greeted and hugged people she knew across the barrier leading to the cinema, excused herself to her friends saying she had customers and then promptly ran past us. This whole time my friend who is a past employee of spur was trying to gain the attention of a manager without blatantly going up and being rude. After 15 minutes of absolutely no aknowledgement by any of the staff, We decided to get our stuff and leave. Even leaving the Spur, not one person stopped us when we didn't go to the till to pay. </p> <p> </p> <p>I get no one wants to work on new years but when in this business there is a level of standard you need to hold. I cannot say that I will be returning to that Spur in a long time. </p>
