11 month old baby attacked by Spur Tygervalley Waiter for holding sugar!!!!

I have had the worst experience at Spur Steak Ranche franchise in Tygervalley mall, Cape Town.

To start off the welcoming or assistance received was very off putting and already made me feel some way. They seated us at a filthy table that has not been cleaned or sanitised when we were seated, they had the sugar packs in a bowl, mind you that I have my niece who is 11 months old with me and obviously a innocent child is going to grab the closest, colourful thing which was one of the sugar sticks that was previously there on the table. She literally just had it in her hand out of curiosity and the waiter (Leon) out of nowhere attacked her, grabbed it out of her hand and shouted for her to leave it and that Spur pays for the suger sticks my little nice who hasn't even ate it or broke it had to be attacked over Sugar!? For me it's not even about the fact that it was not allowed but that he had a stinking attitude which made me upset as my niece is a baby who only says a few words and to go on and act like she was going crazy breaking everything in the restaurant just ****ed me off even further as Spur is "suppose" to be a FAMILY orientated restaurant, even if it is a franchise, there is still a head office who over looks that a standard president takes places throughout its franchises. So then why was my 11 month old being attached over a freaking closed stick of sugar which she has in her hand???!!!

When speaking to the manger (Nicole) who clear has no clue of protocol or way of escalating the matter and basically saying nothing which made me even more upset.

I really hope whoever reads this does not entertain this spur's mentality towards children and for me that says more than enough to never go back or recommend anyone to.
