RCS is a loan shark for Spitz

Last year just over a year ago I opened a store account with Spitz and I bought 1 pair of male shoe and a polish which the total amount was about or less than R2500. The installments were paid monthly and where I skipped a month a double amount payment will follow on the next month these payments were from May 2019 until April 2020 I have never paid anything less than R200 per month but every month I would get a call that my balance is over R2000 and when I ask why does it not go down the consultant on the phone would not be able to give me an answer. I then went to the store when they opened during lockdown to further query about my account balance. I was shocked to learn that Spitz does not have a store account but they have RCS card which they give a customer who wishes to buy an item at the store by credit when I asked further what does that mean and why my balance does not reduce because I never took any other item. I was told that the RCS card it's like taking a loan so those payments they go to RCS for service fee and it does not mean I am paying for the item. I was mad and frustrated to learn that the money I was paying all along was not for an account which I knew I opened with Spitz and I further asked why they did not explain this to then because I would not have went ahead with opening an account with them if it meant they have a loan shark called RCS which they have mad agreement with. My frustration is that Spitz has a loan shark called RCS where if you make payments it's not for the item you bought but for the service fee and I don't know what kind are those service fee this is a total reap off to consumers. When I further requested to block the account they told me I need to pay R2 255.61 first and I asked what happened to the money I paid all along I did not get a straight and understandable answer. I would like to warn people about Spitz and RCS never come to any agreement with those two otherwise you will pay them for a life time. I want my money back the one I have paid from last year to April 2020. Terrible and horrible service.
