POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

To whom it may concern.

On Saturday 19-11-2016 I went to Spitz branch at Westgate and was assisted by a guy called Thapelo I wanted a Lacoste ladies shoes code 320673 which I saw on the internet he advised that they did not have the shoe on stock but will check for me which branches still have when he checked the Newtown Junction branch had 2 in stock, he called the branch and was advised that they can’t send the shoe because it’s the bestselling he called his manager Karobo who was also told the same thing I requested to speak to the Newtown branch and Spoke to Tamara and she advised that she can’t send the shoe because it is the best-selling in her shop. She indicated that a customer could walk in anytime for the shoe then I advised that I also wanted the shoe and I’m in Westrand and I will not be able to drive to Newtown as it was already late. She said she will not send to us in Westgate I therefore requested that she keeps the shoe I will collect on Monday then she said the policy only allows her to keep for 24 hours then I asked what does the policy say about sending to the client if we are following the policy then she must send the shoe to me then she said actually there is someone fitting the shoe then I asked when did she realise that, and I said but the system is showing that they have 2 pairs available she said the other pair is damaged when I asked why is it still on the system as available she said they are very busy selling don’t have time for administration.

Then I insisted on her sending the shoe she said I should hold she will go and confirm if the customer wants the shoe when she comes back she advised that the customer is still undecided if she will lay-buy the pair or another one I advised that I wanted to buy it in cash she advised that she will call back after few minutes to advise, then she called to advise that the customer decided to buy the pair.

I would like this matter to be investigated because I believe that the lady was lying not sure what was her reason for not willing to send the shoes from the first place because initially she said it was her bestselling shoe. Eventually she changed and said someone was fitting the shoe but surprisingly when I asked her to confirm if the shoe is being taken she said she can’t see as she was at the back side of the shop. Therefore I would like to know how did she know that the customer was fitting the shoe if she was not on the floor? and why we were having a conversation about the shoe that the client was fitting with a high probability of purchasing the shoe? I would also like to know why was I not told all these in the begging of our conversation but only after I told her to follow the policy.

,

Please assist me with 2 things 1. Locating the shoe 2. The store Manager (Tamara) should be called into order as what she did was not part of customer service and further than that please ensure that you avail the shoe to me as your customer as I would like to purchase it immediately.
