Laying a complain

This is regarding the service I received from your branch in Tsakane Mall. I bought shoes last year August and I rarely wear the shoe. On the slip it shows if you have not wear the shoes within 30 days, only then can you return the shoes. Now what happens if the shoe has never being worn for over the 30 day period?

I asked for the manager in the branch to assist me with regard to the problem I have, but instead she referred me to the call centre. I think this was not professional since she could not take accountability. I asked for a better responds and she referred me to the area manager. The area manager (Agatha Mputhi) could not assist me since she told me that she came in the shop to look at the shoe and assess what was wrong with it. She insisted that the only time a shoe could be taken back is when the shoe has a factory fault. I think this was not handled well. She saw that the shoe has a factory fault and she told me that the shoe was warned over the past months.

The shoe has no sign of it being worn for a period of time; I believe that the shoe was not assessed correctly. The shoe has a factory fault and I showed the shop assistant Lucky at Tsakane Mall, because we compared the shoe with all the other shoes.

The shoe’s stitches are not correctly stitched through the shoe because in front of the shoe it is tearing off and this is a sign of a factory fault because there was an imitation stitch on the soles. So, if it is a manufacturing fault than it means the shoe needs to be returned as per your policy. I asked for better service as for the shoe to be returned as per your policy but I get a negative respond.

How can you promise your customers better service if there is no better service granted after the point of sale? The only better service given is at the point of sale.

I am very unsatisfied with how I was treated by your staff at Tsakane Mall and I would like to know what better service will I get in the future because all my shoes I bought I buy them from Spitz but now since this has happened I do not know if I should trust the quality that is promised to me.

I would like to know how you can resolve this for me since I feel like I was taken for a ride with shoes which I thought was quality and when I took it back to show that this was a factory fault than I am told that this does not look like a factory fault.

Hypothetical Questions:

First of all: How could you say that a shoe must be return within 30 days and not being worn when on actual fact you know that no one will return a shoe because they have to wear it in order for someone to make their judgement and to see if the shoe has no fault?

Second of all: How could you keep on telling a customer that you can not help him and that the only people to assist is your customer service but with point of sale you tell a customer if anything is wrong you should come back to the branch?

That is not customer service and I strongly think your staff members are *********** in handling such a sensitive matter.
