Defective shoes

I bought a pair Kurt Gieger of shoes at Spitz Newcastle Mall for R1799 on the 28th of December 2015. On the first week of February 2016 I started noticing that the front end as well as bottom of the sole of the shoes was wearing off extremely fast.<br> <br> This brought confusion to me as to what might cause of the shoes to wear out this fast since I only wore the shoes on rare occasions. <br> <br> Infact I did not even wear the shies more than twice in a week, and even so for not more than three hours in a week.<br> <br> <br> See I work in the mining industry. I am on 14 day shifts, which causes me to travel to work via company provided transportation which picks me up not more than 100 metres from my flat.<br> <br> I then proceed into the mine by foot, and again at the entrance there is another format of transport not more than 100 metres away. This is my daily routine for 14 days.<br> <br> At work I wear a pair of safety shoes, or a pair of gumboots, which for 9 hours of the day I am in, while my shoes a safely locked away in my locker.<br> <br> After writing an email to their customer care, I'm told the shoes are in that condition because of wear and tear. I don't know of any kind of shoes that wear out in less than 30 wears!
