Consumer rights violated by stupid staff!!!!!!!
My younger brother purchased shoes at Spitz in Carlton Center few days back and decided to take them back as he felt that he was not happy with the shoes and which is his right to do so. He then went to the store and requested a refund and he was told that he needs to bring copy of his ID ,what the hell?????? Why was the copy of ID not requested on the day of purchase. I am seriously annoyed by the way my younger brother was treated and was even thrown out of the store by security guards because he was questioning why should he bring the copy of ID if he feels that he was not happy with what he bought and wanted his money back.
My brother took video of what transpired as he was thrown out of the store and I am gonna make sure that it circulates on the media to show how disrespectful staff was towards my younger brother.
You need to train your illiterate stuff on consumer rights and how to treat consumers cause this is really disgusting. You need to refund my brother and take your filthy shoes. What is the return of goods clause for on the proof of purchase if you are still giving consumers a run around for their refund. You are disgusting and someone needs to take ownership of how ill treated my brother was by Spitz Carlton Center staff!!!!!!
Dear Grace
Thank you for your feedback regarding your boyfriend's recent experience in our Carlton store. Please accept our sincere apologies.
We hope that since speaking to our Customer Care this morning , your concerns have been addressed.
This matter however related to a lay by cancellation and not a return of a purchase.
In order to cancel a lay by and be refunded monies already paid, proof of identity is required in order to protect both the customer and the store.
Kind regards
