Carvella by far the Worst investment I've made

For months I've been searching for a suitable sneaker to add to my shoe collection. I lay bought it and collected on my birthday in March. I can literally count the amount of times I've worn the shoe. Late last month I noticed defects on the rim of the ankle. The material is peeling . I paid less R5 from R2000. I have since returned the shoe to the Gateway branch. Their feedback is that the shoe is more than 6 months old and thus they are not able to refund or exchange. This is the second time I have been short sold by Spitz and I bought a navy shirt and it changed colour after a few washes there to I was told the 6 month period had lapsed. So my investment of R1995 is broken down to R300 odd a month. BULL**** I HAVE 8 OTHER PAIRS OF KURT GEIGER SHOES THAT HAVE NOT GIVEN ME A DAYS ISSUE. I feel the blanket 6 months policy should be reviewed based on the value and time ratio. Let alone the idea of it being a birthday gift to self. FIXIT / EXCHANGE/ COMPENSATE ACCORDINGLY
