Speed courier services

I am also experiencing a problem with customs in jhb they say my parcel is being arrested because they found money in my parcel. the parcel is from British so I want to know what must I do? the person who sent the parcel tried to speak to them they said I must pay R1500 I did now they want R5500 is this possible? And can the person who sent the parcel pay them in pounds because I don't have R5500 please help
