No delivery next day as promised

I paid for a parcel to be delivered on the 26th of October and I was promised that it will be delivered the on the 27th by 10:30am and until now it has not been delivered. They make promises everyday that it will be delivered and another excuse comes up. Tracking number is TA***ZA. What is the point of paying door to door deliery by the next day if it is going to take over a week for the parcel to be delivered???
