24-48 HOUR SERVICE AND HERE I AM 7 DAYS LATER NIKS

I SENT SOME DOCUMENTS FROM BEAUFORT WEST TO CAPE TOWN PAYING R143.10 FOR A 90 GRAM ENVELOPE NEEDING THE DOCS IN CAPE TOWN ATLEAST WITHIN 48 HOURS . Here I am tracking the docs 7 days later only to find docs at Capemail depot undelivered . Totally Unacceptable Service with no apologies and this delay has cost us dearly. Is this the type of service we must expect especially since we are paying premium rates in the outlying areas ? I mean what do people do especially when the post office and speed services are the only ones we can use in the small towns ? What recourse does a consumer have except go forums like these and complain ? Will things atleast change ? Will management respond ? Will service levels improve as a result ? An optimist will say yes and me being the pessimist i am i say not.
