I've been with Spectacle Warehouse for Years and only ever received exceptional service from the ladies at reception right through to after sales service.<br> 3 days ago I convinced a colleague to stop supporting mediocre Optical Groups and instead pay spectacle warehouse a visit.<br> <br> Until today.<br> <br> I placed an order for contact lenses with Shannon on Thursday last week. Much to my surprise she advised me that Johnson and Johnson were no longer in the Country.<br> She was a little confused as to the way forward, understandably, and confirmed that she would call me back before close of business.<br> It's Monday! I am still awaiting that call.<br> <br> I called this morning and was advised that she isn't in and that no one could assist me in her absence.<br> Does the business stand still on days she isn't in.<br> No manager was present to be of any assistance.<br> Adelaide was unprofessional, lacks customer skillls and with her lack of interest should not be a customers first port of call!<br> <br> It's been 3 business days and i still have no idea whether i will be getting my lenses or if i should book another eye test?!?!<br> <br> Unnacceptable Spectacle Warehouse<br> Utterly dissapointed in the lack of professionalism!

Thank you for being a loyal customer over the past few years.
It is disappointing to hear that your most recent experience was not as positive as what you've become accustomed to from the staff at Spectacle Warehouse. It is not typical of how we do business.
There is some uncer*****y with regards to the future of Johnson and Johnson in South Africa. For now, we are still able to source their product but are not sure for how much longer we'll be able to do so. We do endeavour to make all patients wearing J&J products aware of this and in the event that this uncer*****y does not sit well with them, we do offer a trial pair (at no charge) of a comparable lens, with the view to change to a product which will be readily available going forward.
This should have been communicated to you. I apologise for the fact it was not and for how the situation was handled, when you made the follow up call.
I believe that you were subsequently contacted and are in the process of trialling a recommended brand. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any concerns.
