Unfair and Disappointing Treatment of My Child- SPARK MIDRAND
Extremely disappointed with Sparks Midrand and how this situation involving my child has been handled.
Another learner ripped an armband from Elijah’s arm. Elijah retrieved it, and unfortunately the learner was hurt in the process. There was no intention to hurt anyone, yet Elijah has received a first written warning and is now bearing the brunt of the situation.
We have raised concerns over the years that we feel were not handled with the same urgency. Now that the situation is reversed, the response has been completely different.
As a parent, I am seriously concerned that there may be a racial element to this difference in treatment. We expected fairness, consistency and for both sides to be properly heard before disciplining our child.
I am deeply disappointed.
