SPARKS SCHOOL REFUSE TO REFUND AFTER MONTHS WRITTEN NOTICE

I had my child enrolled in sparks for 2020. A few factors have made this now impossible and i gave the school written notice a few days ago. According to my contract i "have the right to cancel this agreement at any time, for any reason, provided i give the school three calendar month's written notice", i have given 6 months notice! other than immediate "should any other fees have been paid in advance those fees will be credited" and as i have paid the first months school fees that should be refunded. Understandable the registration fee is not refundable but why should i not get my money back for the first month? They have more than enough time to fill the spot!
