Sparks does not care; you are just a number

I was very disappointed when I approached the school just after being retrenched to inform the school on what was going on in my life and seeking some sort of help from them to only be ignored. The school advocates efficient communication but when I needed to hear from them at a very crucial time in my life no one came through for me. I felt so terrible for sharing my vulnerability with the principal and finance team who just made me feel as though they do not care about my child's future. Till today no one has said a thing even after following up with them. So, one only matters when they can afford to pay but when something so tradgic happens that was not in my control then the true colours of the school start showing.
