Spark Schools - Hungry for money

Wow. Just wow.

So I’m a single mom to a son. We went to spark for 2 years and I decided to make a change. I spoke to someone who confirmed when I sent notice we were leaving, that i didn’t owe anything except for December. Then, out of nowhere, I get a “change of heart” telling me I need to pay for the month of January. No problem.

They then proceeded to add 32 units of late pick up fees. Making my charge almost R5000(fees are R2800, for context). I was told I can discuss this with the finance head and he doesn’t ever take calls, do call backs, or reply the emails that are sent from his own people. I have followed up so much it’s exhausting. So I stopped. But this was disgusting. One of the people even stated that there was only 4 units of late-coming, and still he didn’t reply. Still nothing was adjusted. So in all of this I’m paying what I can, Hoping no other parents have to experience what it’s like to pay for things that didn’t happen and get no help when needed.
