Spark.. **** the smile

Spark has an amazing foundation in terms of academic however as a previous employee I am so disappointed and would never recommend anyone working there. The happy environment that they show changes the moment you sign and under their employment. They over work you sometimes saying it’s in your contract. Teachers are always in fear of leadership and support staff.. companies should be a happy place not a place of fear!! In January we were not even given our full pay as they said we didn’t work the whole month( what kind of professional company does that - keep to your promises ) More importantly teachers were not allowed to voice their opinions or else you would have got called in for speaking up. Leadership tends to take advantage of their positions at the school. Favoritism also takes place which is so unfair to parents kids as well as teachers!! Not acceptable Unfair treatment needs to be dealt with. I’m the 2019 academic year more than 20 plus teachers resigned my question is who is the problem. We live in a free democratic country I hope our values can be shown n thought to our kids and not be surpressed. As a teacher I experienced when kids did well they would lower their mark and degrade them how unfortunate where is the positive narration!!! The best thing I did was leave spark I have learnt and grew a lot but the environment was very negative.. I wish other teachers all the best and hope the environment at spark changes
